Magnificent Manufacturer Earns Membership With Stanford Who's Who
Mrs. Anthea L. Wallhead has been accepted among the ranks of premier professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of her magnificent work in the Manufacturing Industry.

KETTERING, TAS, AUSTRALIA, July 22, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- Mrs. Anthea L. Wallhead has been accepted among the ranks of premier professionals with Stanford Who's Who as a result of her magnificent work in the Manufacturing Industry. As Owner and General Manager of Icewall One for the past 10 years, Anthea has routinely exhibited the passion, vision and dedication necessary to be successful in the business world.

Icewall One is a manufacturer of fiber glass polar equipment. The products they offer are the Igloo Satellite Cabin, PolyPod Snowcamper and Sledge Box. The Igloo Satellite Cabin is designed to provide safe, reliable accommodation in remote areas and is ideal for short term accommodation for exploration and research. It has been used for over 25 years in conditions ranging from the tropics to polar icecaps. The first Igloo Satellite Cabin was manufactured for the Australian Antarctic Division in 1982 and the first export was in 1986. Since that time, over 40 polar institutes and other organizations have purchased igloos, mostly for use in Antarctica, but some in arctic, temperate and tropical areas.

The PolyPod Snowcamper is a pre-fabricated, insulated, fiberglass windproof canopy which is spacious enough for two people and provides excellent protection for delicate instruments and photographic equipment. It has been used for a variety of purposes in polar conditions for over 15 years, including filming in the Russian Arctic and in Antarctica. The Sledge Box is a modular, stackable and lockable storage solution which is designed to accompany Icewall's primary products.

The American Museum of Natural History in New York City is currently holding an Antarctic exhibition which includes one of Anthea's Igloo Satellite Cabins. Called 'Race to the End of the Earth', the exhibition is mostly about Scott and Amundsen's expeditions to the South Pole, but AMNH purchased an Igloo as an example of current accommodation on ice. The exhibition will be in NY until January 2011, then will tour to museums in other countries.

Anthea got her start in the industry in a business partnership with her late husband, one of the designers and original manufacturers of fiberglass polar field equipment. She acted as marketing manager until his death, then oversaw all operations until another company took over manufacturing under license, while she continued with administration and marketing.

During her educational career, Anthea earned a Diploma of Education. She is a member of the Tasmanian Polar Network, Australian Geographic Society and Kingborough Community Enterprise Center. In the time away from her busy schedule she greatly enjoys reading fiction.
