FAYETTEVILLE, WV, February 7, 2010 /Stanford Who's Who/ -- James J. Taylor has earned the acceptance of Stanford Who's Who as a result of his sensational work in the field of Outdoor Recreation. As Owner and Head Guide of the Appalachian Climbing School for the past 14 years he has routinely performed at an extraordinary level.
Appalachian Climbing School is located on the rim of the breathtaking New River Gorge. They
offer a variety of instructional courses for the beginner through advanced climber along with private guiding at both Seneca Rock and The New River Gorge. Their experienced staff utilizes the latest and most efficient techniques aimed towards climbers looking to expand their knowledge and skills. Appalachian Climbing School only employs A.M.G.A. certified Single Pitch Instructors, Rock Instructors, and Rock Guides.
Taylor has 26 years of climbing experience and has spent the past 21 years as a guide. He is an A&J Certified Guide, Certified Wilderness First Responder and Certified Rescue 3 in International & Vertical Rescue. James is a member of the American Mountain Guide Association, The Access Fund and the American Canoe Association.
