Tourists and locals head for Kuta Beach Bali to take part in charity swim event in some of the world's prettiest waters.

BALI, INDONESIA, June 03, 2010 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Tourists and visitors are getting ready to make for the Indonesian paradise island of Bali in July for the Bali Ocean Swim event - a fun festival sure to boost the island's tourist numbers for the time of year.

The charity sports event takes place on Bali's famous Kuta Beach on July 10th 2010, and the Kuta Beach resort is expecting bumper numbers of visitors to swell the resort's population for the few days either side of the swim as tourists make a holiday of attending the event.

The swim takes place in some of the most picturesque waters in the world and its length is 1.2 kilometres. Swimmers will be under the guidance and supervision of the expert team of lifesavers and guards from the Balawista Surf Lifesaving group.

With many keen swimming fans from across the globe making for Bali and the Kuta Beach area to take part in the swim there is sure to be increased demand for hotels in Bali either side of the event.
